Guidelines for Unlock 3 released on Wednesday. Night curfew in the public movement has been removed and yoga institutes and gymnasiums allowed to function from August 5 with proper Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) which should be followed.
Lockdown shall be strictly followed in containment zones including Schools, colleges and coaching institutions will remain closed till August 31, 2020. Moreover, Metro services, cinema halls, swimming pools, theatres, auditoriums, assembly halls, entertainment parks and bars can continue outside containment zones.
However, there shall be no restriction on the interstate or intrastate movement of goods and passengers. The items and travellers can move without any physical or e-permit. Additionally, Internation flights are allowed to some extent under Vande Bharat Mission.
On the contrary, State Union Territories and district administrations can act in exception to the demanding COVID situation. UTs and DA can prohibit or relax certain activities according to the choice of the situation demands.
Independence day functions along with other political, sports, entertainment, academic, cultural, religious meetings apart from containment zones are allowed with proper protection, sanitization and social distancing.
Notably, NHM directives should be followed universally ensuring social distancing, using masks and sanitization. Every shop and public places need to maintain COVID safety guidelines. Persons above 65 years and children’s below 10 years, diabetic and cardio patients are advised to stay at home except for any major requirement or any other health issue.
