Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangha(RSS) and all other saffron organisations deeply mourned on the ultimate demise of Nandalal Nath one of the senior executive members of RSS. He was 69 years old at the time of his demise.

All the leader and others paid their huge condolences. After he started feeling unwell nearly around 7 pm of the evening, Nandalal Nath breathed his last on September 12 at the union’s office in Guwahati.

On hearing of his death, Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonayal, Health Minister Himanta Bishwa Sharma and BJP state president Ranjit Das also paid their condolences at the union’s office in Guwahati.

Meanwhile, his body was first brought to the Silchar Sangha office from Guwahati at 7 am on Sunday. He was eventually buried in his ancestral home at Narshingpur according to religious rites on Sunday. Dilip Paul, Subhash Chandra Nath, Aminul Haque, were also present.

His mind and wealth always ran to the cause of the state and went out to work as a preacher of the union. Narshinghpur Saraswati Vidyaniketan was established by him. His death has cast a shadow of mourning over the entire region.
