Road repairing at Silchar going in a full swing prior to Himanta Biswa Sarma visits. For moment but still the sun has risen in the sky of Silchar because the vehicular movement will be easy at least for few days.
The leader has changed, the government has changed but the plight of the people of Silchar has not changed. The road condition never seems to be solved in barak Valley.
The worst situation is on Hailakandi Road in Silchar. The road which connects Silchar Medical Collage & Hispital including other private nursing homes, Polytechnic, NIT, Assam University and what not? But the public representatives moves on the roar in a shameless manner.
Recently the State Minister Pijush Hazarika witnessed the same thing in his last visit to Silchar. While he visited the SMCH, the local public representatives were seen running after the minister by car through the disgusting road. Then somehow it was repaired after he left Silchar but road condition remained the same after a few days.
