Indian Red Cross Society organises 7 days voluntary Blood Donation Camp during lockdown to meet the requirement of blood during Corona crisis.  Silchar MP Dr Rajdeep Roy, Cachar Deputy Comissioner Barnali Sharma and Daipayan chakrabarty the Secretary of Silchar, Red Cross Society inaugurate the Blood Donation Camp in the Red Cross Hospital premise on Tuesday.

It was reported that 50 Donors have donated Blood in the first day. The blood donation camp will be continued till 3rd May.

MP Dr. Rajdeep Ray says, if the number of patients increases, there  will be a shortage of blood. To meet the requirement of blood to face Corona crisis, the blood donation camp has been organised for seven days.

Barnali Sharma the Deputy Commissioner of Cachar, expressed her gratitude for organising such blood donation camp. She also thanked all the donors for their great work.

Dr Akhil Paul, Bikramjit Chakrabarty, Rathindranath Saha, Niloy paul, Sujon Dutta, Abhijit Paul among others were present in the inaugural ceremony.
