After Union Home Minister Amit Shah and other politicians tested COVID positive on Sunday, Uma Bharti, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader has already appealed the senior officials to remove her as the invitee for the foundation ceremony of the Ram Mandir on August 5. In this situation, it is really tough to predict what would happen next.

Ayodhya administration is gearing up for the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the city on August 5 for foundation laying ceremony of Lord Ram temple.

Images of Lord Ram and 3D portraits of the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya will be beamed across the New York city too. With giant billboards of Lord Rama in the iconic Times Square, New York is going to celebrate the temple’s inaugural ceremony.

The Indian-American community, which is organising the event, said that the prominent billboards that are being leased for the occasion are the giant Nasdaq screen and the 17,000-square-foot wrap-around LED display screen. These are among the largest continuous exterior displays in the world and the highest-resolution exterior LED screen in Times Square.

The Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) plans to install big screens across Ayodhya for the live telecast of the groundbreaking ceremony. It will celebrate the occasion by lighting diyas (earthen lamps), party leader Adesh Kumar Gupta said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of the Ram Temple slated to be built in Ayodhya on August 5. Amid the Covid-19 pandemic and to ensure maximum social distancing at the programme, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra has decided that there will not be more than 200 people, including 150 invitees at the foundation stone laying ceremony.
