Assam government has enforced 12 Hours night curfew in all the districts of the state. The curfew will be continued from 7 PM to 7 AM until further notification.

Since the government of Assam imposed a new phase lockdown to check the rising pandemic situation, confusions about the new inter-state lockdown rules reached the peak.

To have control over the constant rise in  CVID-19 cases in the state, the government has to take the decision said the Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. As of now, there are 6,919 COVID positive cases has been reported from the state in total.

Assam Government has recently imposed a new phase lockdown in the state. This new phase lockdown consists of a daily night curfew from 7 AM to 7 PM until further notification.

It is found that 50% of COVID positive cases of Assam are reported from Kamrup Metropolitan district. To have control over such situation government announced 14 days lockdown in the metropolitan district.

On the other hand, there will be weekend lockdown in the areas under the town committee and municipal board in all the districts of the state. On every Saturday and Sunday, there will be weekend lockdown until further notification.

Apart from emergency services educational institutes, religious places, business establishments, offices, vehicle movements, will be suspended. Any kind of violation of above-mentioned law and order will be punishable under disaster management act.
