Mother tongue can only be protected if we are protected from COVID-19 pandemic says Cachar Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli on 19th April Martyr’s Day.
While the mankind is fighting against COVID-19 pandemic people of Barak Valley observed the 19th April Martyr’s Day in a nutshell manner. Keerthi Jalli the Deputy Commissioner of Cachar District also joined the observed in Silchar to pay tribute to the eleven Martyr of 1961.
The Deputy Commissioner urged the people to be inspired from the martyrs and protect themselves against further spread of COVID-19. She puts earnest appeal to maintain social distance and step out only when it is utmost essential.
She also requested people to read the e-magazine on the Language Martyrs. She visits Silchar railway station and Crematorium along with the Additional Deputy Commissioner Sumit Sattawan and Assistant Commissioner Abhilash Barnawal.
