Though there is a cold war going on between them, Himanta Biswa Sarma meets Tarun Gogoi to take stock of his health. The current health and finance minister of Assam visits Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) to enquiry about the health condition of Tarun Gogoi the former Chief Minister of Assam, covered in a PPE Kit.
However, the war of words between former Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi and health, finance and education minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma has taken mass attention as the stage has already been set for Assam assembly elections in 2021.
In the 2021 elections, there is no relevance of Tarun Gogoi. Sarma further alleged that the former chief minister wants to secure his son and Kaliabor MP Gaurav Gogoi’s seat and therefore encouraged the Congress to form an alliance with the AIUDF. In this age, Gogoi should think for sanyas. Instead of seeking Ram and Krishna, Gogoi is looking for Badruddin Ajmal. If you travel across the state, not a single person of his age is involved with the materialistic world. You look at the person’s degeneration.
Assam Finance, Health and Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma slammed senior Congress leader and former Assam CM Tarun Gogoi multiple times for seeking an alliance with Badruddin Ajmal’s All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF). Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the former chief minister has got Ajmal’s blood. Tarun Gogoi still thinks that he is the chief minister and so he keeps making unnecessary statements.
He further added that the election results will be in favour of BJP. Tarun Gogoi should not call himself as the former chief minister. Because he became the chief minister for his anti-Ajmal stand. But now Gogoi has become pro-Ajmal.
