A child was beaten up to death, which worsens the situation and breaks huge chaos in Hailakandi district of Barak Valley, Assam. Locals of Hailakandi gathered and demonstrated in front of the Hailakandi fire station as the fire station employees had beat up a child till the death.
Chanpur resident Rahim Uddin Laskar was lynched to death inside the fire and emergency station of Hailakandi. The situation is now very tense in Hailakandi after the Hailakandi Fire Brigade officials lynched a child to death.
No one has the right to take justice in hand. In fact, judges also need to go through some judicial protocols. But strangely the employees of Hailakandi fire station lynched a child up to the death with a reason of stealing a cell phone.
Rahim Uddin Laskar has allegedly robbed a cell phone that the Fire Station workers have heard about. They caught him last night and then they started beating him mercilessly. They kicked him and then started putting salt on his wounds. He kept screaming but the group of people did not allow him any respite. Then a senior official walked in and stopped the officials.
Rahim Uddin Laskar was rushed into the civil hospital immediately, but his condition was considered critical. He has been referred to the Medical College and Hospital by the doctors in Hailakandi. Rahim Uddin Laskar died of the injuries, according to the doctor.
