Assam government to allow one time transport within the state during the lockdown. As the lockdown is going lengthy people are suffering. After April 20 if the situation improves in Assam the Government will make it confirm.
Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma visited Diphu Medical College and Hospital to check and review the preparedness for COVID19 treatment. He had an interaction with the doctors, nurses and health officials. Sarma was accompanied by minister of state for health and family welfare Pijush Hazarika and Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council chief executive member Tuliram Ronghang.
“We are thinking to allow one time movement within Assam after April 20 if situation becomes normal. But that movement will be one time till the lockdown ends. It may happen on April 21 and 22. That completely depends on the situation,” Biswa Sarma said at Diphu today.
