20 Indian soldier were killed in a conflict between India and China at Galwan Valley in Ladakh,  on the other hand 43 Chines soldier were reportedly killed in the conflict.

The soldiers were killed in a physical fight on Indian Territory that involved stones and batons. There was no firing, no firearms were used in the conflict. It was violent hand-to-hand scuffles. The colonel was stoned and the Indian troops retaliate, ending several hours of unarmed fighting.

Colonel B Santosh Babu of the Bihar regiment, Havildar Palani and Sepoy Ojha are three of the names confirmed by the army. During the de-escalation process underway in the Galwan Valley, a violent face-off took place Monday night with casualties on both sides. The loss of lives on the Indian side includes an officer and two soldiers. Senior military officials of the two sides are currently meeting at the venue to defuse the situation.
